This is the WORST rental company in the state of Colorado. They rented me an unsafe car that I HAD TO DO MECHANICAL WORK ON. My family and I almost got into a car accident because they didn't check the car. They said their detailer quit and they weren't responsible (I'm not exaggerating) for renting me a unsafe car!! I asked them about something in their contract about the miles per day when I picked up the car and was reassured (by two people on two separate occasions) that I could disregard it. Then they hiked my bill up $50, and cheated me out of my deposit. The irony is that they think it was about the money!! Not that they were willing to lower the bill at all. In fact, they were reluctant to pay for the parts I had to replace to get home safely! The fact of the matter is that they put MY FAMILY in danger, and repeatidly told me that they were not liable for renting me an unsafe vehicle. They were rude, profane, and degrading when my sister called. She rents cars at least twice a month and didn't believe that a rental company would act that way. She thought I misunderstood! They didn't even include an ice scraper in the car! It's February in Colorado, for goodness sake! For your safety, Stay away from Zippy's Rent-A-Car!
Very pleased with the service. Quick pickup at the airport, very nice people. The car was clean and ran well. Would definitely rent from again and recommend to anyone who needs a rental in Colorado Springs.
The staff, Jenn and Kathi, were wonderful, friendly and efficient. The car was great, clean and ran perfectly. There's never a problem when I need to extend the rental a couple of days. Rent from them 4 times last year and each time it's been fantastic.
The service was great (Kathi) when we picked the car up. It went downhill from there. The car had over 94,000 miles on it, drove like it had been wrecked and smelled of smoke, even though no-smoking signs were posted every where.
I rented the car day-to-day, as I was waiting for my car to be fixed. I turned it in 3.5 hours into a new contract day, but they would not prorate those hours, and charged me for 20.5 hours that I did not have the car. This policy was not stated at the time of rental. I could go on about irritations with the service, but those are the highlights of my experience.
