My daughter brought her VW in to have an oil leak fixed. She was told that they needed to tear down the front of the engine in order to find out where it was leaking; however they failed to tell her that if it was leaking in a certain area she would just have to take it to VW because they were the only ones that could fix that particular oil leak. No they waited until they had the entire thing torn down charged 450 dollars put it back together and then told her she would have to take it VW to finish fixing the leak. For all of you that know the most costly part of the entire process is tearing it down and putting it back together not fixing the acutal leak. So in reality it will end up costing twice to do this one repair. If they had told her that up front she would have taken it to VW. When I talked to Troy he kept telling me he told her up front that they had to tear the car down to take a look at it and I kept asking him if they told her up front that they might not be able to fix it even if they found out where the leak was. He just hung up on me. No they did not tell her that there was a possiblity that only VW could fix it. They just wanted the money for the labor. She was without her car for an entire week and still they could not fix the main reason she brought the car in. This place is so dishonest don';t take your care here.
