  1. Customers that appear to be Employees
    As a Colorado Springs native I would like to report one of the rudest experiences I have had. I was recently introduced to RC hobbies by a friend that had given me a RC helicopter but one of the controller sticks had broken off. Being a novice I decided to see if RC Hobbies on Boulder would have the needed parts to repair the controller. My wife and I walked into the shop and found two gentlemen talking, one behind the counter and another which appeared to be a patron. They ended their conversation and the patron left, so I asked the person behind the counter if he could help. He responded that he could not help and the guy in the back would need to help me. I proceeded to the back and was informed that he was on the phone. I assumed that the person behind the counter was an employee but later found out was a customer. Why the customer is behind the counter is really not for me to debate but I would have really appreciated some indication that he was a customer and the owner was on the phone and would need to assist me. I then left the store and called back 5 minutes later to explain my frustration and that I would not be patronizing his store again, which he replied that was fine. I hope that this review will provide future patrons a glimpse of what to expect when visiting RC Hobbies. If you are looking for rude behavior and customers that appear to be employees but cannot assist, Good Luck! (DarrellRCHobbies, 10/10/2009)
