    This shop, also associated with Action Towing, is owned by nothing less than criminals. The short version is that I paid the shop a significant amount of money, in the tens of thousands of dollars to restore my classic automobile while I was deployed to Iraq with the Army. The shop began work on my vehicle, but within months of my deploying, after providing another payment so the shop could continue work, all email communication with the shop ceased. I continued to call and email but never received any answer from the shop. Upon my return from deployment, 16 months after the 5 week project began, it was easy to see little progress had actually been made. The owner, Paul, promised to complete work I had paid for, and order parts I had paid for, but never did. 6 months after I returned, nearly 22 months after the 5 week project began, I asked for my car back along with a refund. The shop refused and I was forced to call the police to get my vehicle back. During that time Paul and others at the shop removed other parts off of the vehicle before pushing my non-functioning car out into the parking lot and throwing only a portion of my parts in a pile beside it. I filed a report with the BBB, but the shop refused to respond to them either. I am now in the progress of filing a lawsuit against the shop. Since then I have began to work on the car myself and have found numerous defects in Performance Specialties work. Do NOT use this shop, unless you want to have poor work performed and be stolen from, plain and simple. If they will steal from a deployed soldier, they WILL steal from you. (skidude, 08/18/2009)
